Jamestown Fire Department will be hosting an EMT Basic class in the fall. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community and an excellent chance for a new experience while gaining valuable training. The class will start on September 8th and run until December 17th.

Jamestown Fire and EMS Division is an all volunteer organization serving Jamestown Rhode Island and the Island of Conanicut.

Jamestown Fire Department provides Fire, Rescue and EMS services to the Town of Jamestown, RI. JFD is located on the Island of Conanicut situated in Narragansett Bay, between the City of Newport and the Town of North Kingstown.


Founded in 1891, the Jamestown Fire Department has been serving the residents of Jamestown for over a Century.  The department and EMS Division are comprised entirely of volunteers, dedicated to serving their community, neighbors and friends.
